Miami Hurricanes' Reggie Johnson leads ACC win over Wake Forest
Born and raised on barbecue and basketball in nearby Winston-Salem,
SupplementMiami redshirt freshman Reggie Johnson grew up dreaming of being the next dominant big man for Wake Forest.
It was a dream Johnson believed would become a reality until late Demon Deacons coach Skip Prosser sustained a fatal heart attack the summer before Johnson's senior year of high school.
Health food Wake Forest stopped recruiting Johnson after Prosser died. The Hurricanes didn't.
Thursday afternoon, inside an arena just 15 minutes from his parents' home, Johnson made Wake pay. He scored a career-high 22 points -- with a perfect shooting effort no less --
