But don't go too far.Manalo says men tend to underdress in comparison with their female colleagues."A lot of women know how to do casual Friday well where they can still look smart, because there could still be that client meeting," he said.His tip: choose one part of the outfit as a highlight and then balance the rest of the items around it. Pair a great jacket with simple cotton pants and ditch the tie. Or keep it casual with a T-shirt and jeans, but dress it up with a nice pair of shoes."You don't want to wear a T-shirt and jeans with sneakers [in the office]," he said.
