This time, he is Michael, with Broadway veteran Dylan Baker in his old role as Alan.Mr. Daniels is the first actor from the original foursome to return to the play,DVD Ripper,Printingnow on its third cast. Each member of the original cast in the Tony Award-winning play—Mr. Daniels, Mr. Gandolfini, Hope Davis and Marcia Gay Harden—received a Tony nomination last year."[It] was kind of like, 'Oh, you mean come in against the critics and come in against the legend that was us a year ago?'" says Mr. Daniels, who debuted as Michael last week. "The stakes are higher, and I said, 'That's the kind of creative risk I'm interested in.'"The play is about two couples who meet to discuss their sons' playground brawl and gradually lose all civility. The original cast left in November; though their replacements (Jimmy Smits, Annie Potts, Ken Stott and Christine Lahti) received warm reviews, ticket sales dropped#x.
